Very few realtors work at Christmas, very few think outside the box or are prepared to go to the wall for clients. Very few can pair personality with tenacity……ours does but that is just the beginning. Looking for a new home to replace a loved but too large a one is a challenge. A special challenge when the market is short in supply of suitable properties. Having lost two remarkable properties for reasons out of our control we spotted a listing by Karen Kenyon of Royal LePage in the Nanoose Bay area of Vancouver Island. Actually spotted it for the first time on Christmas Day while staying at a resort over the holiday period. Karen responded on Boxing Day within an hour of our eMail - a meeting / viewing was set up for the next day. On our way back home we met with Karen to see the listed property trying not to let our excitement run too far ahead of us. Karen was not only charming, informative, a resident of the locality and had great knowledge of the builder (this was a new build) and additionally was very well versed in construction technique, landscaping and local does and dont's. She led us gently and incredibly professionally into the world of purchasing a newly built home. There have been very many positive steps along the way, much advice sought and freely given to the point where Karen feels a trusted advisor. Did she offer 100% more like 300%.  We never saw a situation when she was anything less than cheerful, charming, informed and ahead of most of our questions. As a full service professional at the top of her career Karen is so far ahead of the curve to be almost 'out of sight'. This is a relationship that will grow as several of our friends are now looking very hard at the area and the realtor. We have been most fortunate to have Karen on our side. Advising us, helping us to understand the in's and out's of property purchase. Prompt with her communications and concise with her words. Totally professional but with a great sense of humour and twinkle in her eye - she is the consummate professional and exactly the right one to do an outstanding job for you wether buying or selling!!
